Restaurant Maintenance Technician
We are in search of a Maintenance Tech for our restaurants. We will train on specifics, but must come with a general understanding of restaurant equipment.
Top Five Job Responsibilities:
1.Respond to the stores maintenance needs on a timely basis
2.Complete repairs correctly the first try
3.Knowledge to perform broiler PM and repairs quickly and correctly
4.Mechanical abilities and knowledge in all areas of equipment and building repairs
5.Communication with all levels of management on maintenance related issues
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain company vehicles per the Fleet Vehicle Policy
- Safeguard all tools and supplies
- Maintain an accurate inventory or parts
- Submit time sheets and maintenance invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Shop for the lowest price when ordering parts and supplies
- Work with outside vendors when necessary to insure completeness and quality of their work
- Make recommendations based on equipment age and repair history about any equipment replacement
- Train managers and crew on equipment use and cleanliness
- Follow all applicable laws and codes when repairs are made
- Follow BKC standards when repairs are made
- Follow the standard outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Keep R&M spending within the budget
Requirements:
- A valid Driver`s License and good driving record
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
- Desirable to have EPA refrigeration certification
