Title: Pediatric Endocrinology Dietitian - Outpatient
Location: The Children's Hospital of San Antonio
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our dynamic and compassionate healthcare team as a Pediatric Endocrinology Dietitian - Outpatient at Children's Hospital of San Antonio.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment, providing top-notch care primarily to patients with Type I and Type II diabetes. This role works Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities
* Assess the nutritional needs of pediatric patients with endocrine disorders, taking into consideration factors such as age, weight, growth rate, and medical history.
* Develop individualized meal plans that take into account the patient's dietary preferences, cultural background, and lifestyle.
* Educate patients and their families about the importance of nutrition in managing their endocrine disorder, including how to count carbohydrates, monitor blood glucose levels, and adjust insulin doses.
* Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address the patient's medical, psychological, and nutritional needs.
* Monitor patients' progress and adjust meal plans as necessary to ensure that they are meeting their nutritional goals and managing their endocrine disorder effectively.

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
* Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) designation required or the ability to obtain RD / RDN within 6 months
* Licensed Dietitian status in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Passion for helping patients achieve optimal health through proper nutrition
