We seek a dedicated individual who, while working under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor, will be responsible for monitoring the status of all plant systems on a continuous basis. The position will respond to alarms by taking appropriate corrective actions, execute plant shut-down and start-up procedures, and assure the Plant meets its generating requirements while operating in a safe and environmentally efficient manner.

Position Requirements

To qualify, you must have an associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience, coupled with the following skills: Basic computer, piping and instrumentation diagrams, schematic specifications, and steam plant and combustion theory. Must possess excellent leadership and problem solving/decision making skills and the ability to communicate with crew members.

The following physical demands must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: Be able to climb stairs and ladders, occasionally work at heights, and lift or carry 25-40 pounds.

Must have, or be able to obtain, ASME QRO certification within six months.
