Avionics Technician III with Security Clearance

Avionics Technician III ***This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)/Yankee White clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI)/Yankee White clearance to be considered
*** As required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen This role requires advanced technical expertise to tackle complex problems that go beyond standard manufacturer manuals
Tasks include analyzing circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, and incorporating engineering changes
The job involves independent judgment, utilizing complex test instruments and understanding circuit interrelationships
Work may be reviewed by supervisors for compliance, and the individual may provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians
Compensation & Benefits:
• Estimated Starting Salary Range for Avionics Technician III: Pay commensurate with experience.
• Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.

• Avionics Technician III Responsibilities Include:
• Utilize advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems beyond standard manuals.
• Determine the location and density of circuitry in intricate systems.
• Evaluate electromagnetic radiation and its effects on circuit performance.
• Isolate malfunctions within complex systems and implement necessary repairs.
• Incorporate engineering changes into existing systems as required.
• Analyze circuits, calculate waveforms, and trace signal flow relationships.
• Operate complex test instruments such as high-frequency pulse generators and frequency synthesizers.
• Utilize distortion analyzers and complex computer control equipment for testing and analysis.
• Ensure work adheres to accepted practices and standards, subject to review by supervisors.
• Provide technical guidance and support to lower-level technicians when needed.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Avionics Technician III Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
• High School Diploma or GED, Tech school trained and I.E
Military/Aviation Tech and 12 years Aviation maintenance experience.
• Design instrumentation systems for test data collection, drawing from at least six years of experience.
• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project milestones, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, contractors, vendors, and end-users to ensure successful implementation of instrumentation systems.
• Maintain strong computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, for data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work, including planning, resource management, and hands-on implementation of instrumentation systems.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
