*****RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE***** KELLY ENGINEERING is looking for a "First Shift Production Manager" that plans, organizes and controls the activities of the manufacturing and machining functions of the plant and is responsible for the performance of all Production Departments. The main responsibilities of this position are: •Responsible for understanding, communicating, auditing and ensuring compliance with all site, corporate, regulatory and procedural environmental, safety, security, health, quality and human resources standards for managers •Effectively communicates the overall business goals and objectives. •Facilitates team meetings effectively. •Understands how to communicate sensitive / difficult information tactfully. •Manages production resources within budget and project timelines. •Creates and executes improvement plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. •Facilitates effective team interaction. •Suggests areas of improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. •Mentors and motivates the machining staff to deliver high quality products in a timely manner. •Challenges others to develop as leaders while serving as a role model. •Inspires coworkers to obtain goals and achieve excellence. •Remains on the forefront of emerging industry practices. •Continually seeks opportunities to improve manufacturing performance. •Fully engages with best practice sharing and implementation. •Ensures compliance to global standards and initiatives. •Responsible to fulfill the requirements of verbal and written communications, procedures and work instructions, maintenance orders, training, and performing recordkeeping within assigned area's of responsibility in order to assure compliance with environmental policy, legal and other requirements. •Responsible for and authorized to ensure that product realization requirements, measurement, analysis and improvement are met in order to assure compliance with the quality policy. Qualified candidates will have the following education/experience to be considered:  *Associates Degree in Sciences; Bachelor's degree, preferrably in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

*5-7 years experience in supervisory role in an Automotive Manufacturing environment

*Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an automotive machining operation; hands on with equipment

*Experience with ISO 14001 & IATF 16949 Standards •Excellent written and verbal communication skills. •Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment. •Display a healthy level of assertiveness and initiative NOTE: This company does not offer H-1B or any other work authorization visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and maintain work authorization throughout the employment term
