Veterinarian

South Orange County Animal Hospital Lake Forest, CA (Onsite) Full-Time

South Orange County Animal Hospital is searching for a compassionate veterinarian to join our team.  We are searching for a veterinarian that demonstrates empathy, collegiality, and proficiency in their practice of veterinary medicine.  We are not a corporate conglomerate - each team member practices veterinary medicine how we see fit.

We are located in Lake Forest, California – just south of John Wayne Airport and adjacent to Irvine, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills, and Laguna Niguel.

We have a wide variety of medical, surgical, and preventative cases.  Mentorship is available for those who may want it, advice or having an ear to bounce an idea off of is always available.

Our hospital offers our owners soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, endoscopy, and diagnostic abdominal ultrasound performed by the general practitioner should the clients elect to do so.  With sufficient support staff, 5 RVT with another currently in training, our veterinarians have sufficient and able support staff to help you through your day.  Medical records are a paperlight system with hard copies of treatments serving as medical recordkeeping redundancies.

Work life balance is important to all of us.  Scheduling is performed with no seniority. All staff members, whether new or old, will have equal say to accommodate their off shift lives.  New staff members will not be stuck with not ideal shifts.

New graduates are welcome to apply.  Experienced staff will be expected to maintain the atmosphere of education and growth - to our clients, staff, and rotating third year veterinary students.  All staff are expected to maintain an atmosphere of collegiality and mutual respect.
