Orlando Health UF Health Cancer Center is the state-of-the-art Charles Lewis Pavilion, a 220,000 square-foot structure completed in 2003. In addition to 60 private inpatient beds, the 10-story comprehensive multidisciplinary cancer center contains all ambulatory and other services required for cancer care from diagnosis through all phases of treatment and follow up. Our multidisciplinary team includes board-certified surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, nurses, therapists, researchers and counselors. UF Health Cancer Center is the only cancer center in Central Florida to be recognized by the State of Florida as a Cancer Center of Excellence.

UF Health Cancer Center at Orlando Health is currently seeking a Clinical Specialist, Pharmacy Services to join our Pharmacy team! They will provide service and leadership consistent with the mission and vision of the Department of Pharmacy Services and the Clinical Pharmacy team. They will participate in active continuous quality improvement through creation and revision of order sets, protocols, policies and formulary considerations and will collaborate on various multidisciplinary and corporate committees. Participation in teaching activities is required with responsibilities of serving as a preceptor to pharmacy students, interns, PGY-1, PGY-2 pharmacy residents and teaching physician Fellows. This Specialist’s practice focus will be support of the Inpatient Hematology Team and the Inpatient Oncology Team, rotating quarterly between them.
- Pharmacy degree (Bachelor of Science, Pharm.D. or clinically oriented Master of Science) and successful completion of post graduate residency/fellowship training (or commensurate experience)
- Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the Florida Board of Pharmacy or obtain license within 4 months of hire.
- One (1) year of hospital clinical practice experience or completion of an ASHP - accredited residency
- PGY-2 Oncology pharmacy residency preferred
- Five (5) years of hospital oncology experience preferred
