A very well established hospital in Southern California is looking for a Cardiovascular Manager to become a lead team member in their Cardiology department.
The Cardiovascular Manager will stand alongside a Nurse Director at a 200+ bed acute care hospital in continuing to provide quality patient care and exceptional services daily. This hospital specifically is well known for their Level IV Trauma Center as well as their devotion to the safety of their community as a whole. The staff members at this facility are a very wonderful, and great representation of the hospitals goals while providing immediate care for all specialized care needs, including trauma of all degrees.
Having 25+ FTES and reporting directly up to the Nurse Director of Cardiology, Cardiovascular Manager must carry a lot of responsibilities in the department from training and scheduling new staff members, to providing non-invasive cardiology testing to new patients. Some other responsibilities of the Nurse Manager may include;
- Perform Cardiac Stress testing, Cardiac Rehabilitation, and EKGS on patients
- Train new employees in the department and be sure they are committing to facility goals
- Align department and clinic scheduling as required
- Schedule regular meet ups with the clinic staff members and medical director within hospital
