Project Sourcing Manager :

Job Description:
- Manages the overall set of existing and bid projects within procurement to obtain the goals and objectives in regard to quality, on time delivery, cost and customer requirements.
- Manages and Coordinates Renovation Sourcing Activities in Coordination with Project Manager and operating areas involved.
- This job could have supervisory responsibilities depending on the size of the Renovation project, but temporary coordinates activities with Sourcing Specialist and/or Commodity Buyers.
- Ensures that project needs are properly communicated to Sourcing teams, supports Commodity buyers to get optimized functional requirements, challenges new gaps compared to tender.
- Defines and implements the Project Sourcing Strategy in full respect of QCD (quality cost delivery) commitments, manages supplier selection through Business Award process and assures subcontracts are managed and executed properly with support from commodities buyers.
- Sponsors GO-Order Execution supported by SQA & Supply Chain, facilitates co-operation between Engineering and Sourcing, defines co-development plan and Make or Buy strategy with Project team.
- Owner of the Material Work Package committed at tender stage and reviewed at SPR0. Ensures continuity with tender commitments through transfer meetings, reviews periodically the Work Packages (WP) with Comm. buyers, prepares Sector Project Reviews with Work Package Controller and manages risks and ambitions through length of project.
- Leads ASIP projects, challenges Comm. buyers and project teams to generate cost optimization ideas, ensures actions are documented and savings calculated in a total cost of ownership base, ensures action plan is shared by project team and savings recognized by Finance Controller and Project manager.
- Monitors the progress of ASIP actions, structure meetings with Commodity Managers and project team (PAR Meetings) to review opportunities and to manage any risk.


Skills, Experience, Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience with sourcing, buying, procurement, SCM / supply chain management, bids, tenders, etc.
