Accountant - Sr.Compensation:
$60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year

The Senior SEC Accountant is primarily responsible for SEC reporting, but will be involved in a wide range of tasks, including financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance. How you will make an impact - Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests - Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - XBRL Tagging experience - Financial reporting experience preferred - Adeptness in Microsoft Excel - Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis - XBRL experience - Solid understanding of SEC Reporting - Auditing experience - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the company - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills - Must have excellent time management skills - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Vow to meet business deadlines - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Current and relevant ERP system experience - Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
