PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Inventory Supply Specialist II will perform as the Government Property Focal Point (GPFP) for the Eielson AFB, AK location. This position is responsible for all daily activity of Government Property assigned to this location.
• Understand and be able to execute key logistics principles such as: customer service, demand forecast planning, inventory management, procurement, transportation, warehousing/storage, and distribution
• Prepares and executes materials requisitions through corporate and Air Force supply management systems
• Works closely with Air Force management for funding requests for purchases
• Document receipt, movement and disposition of Government Property
• Maintains inventory required by engineering drawings and technical orders
• Works with customer and subcontractors; assures that support requirements, purchasing, and delivery schedules are met
• Liaison with Project Managers and Property Custodians to assure adequate property management per Air Force and DoD regulations
• Conduct periodic physical inventory of government-furnished and contractor acquired material and equipment
• Maintain inventory records on government and capital equipment
• Maintain equipment tagging program of incoming Government Equipment
• Track, monitor, and report the status, usage and storage of government property to the Corporate Property Administrator
• Compile required data and information for monthly and annual reports to the government
• Coordinate activities related to the disposition of government property
• Promptly report excess of government property to the Corporate Property Administrator
• Recommend operational improvements to senior management
• Generates, maintains, and tracks material and part requirements to ensure continued support of deployed systems and/or products
• Manages inventory/supply for systems with non-standard supply chain requiremen

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelors' degree in RELATED field (business management/administration or logistics/supply chain) or three (3) to five (5) years supply chain management experience, at least one (1) year of experience in each customer service, inventory management, procurement, receiving/distribution, records/file management, and transportation
• Five (5) to Eight (8) + years of Air Force Supply Experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis in Excel
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office(emphasis in Excel) and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong organizational skills in filing, both electronically and hardcopy
• Ability to type and communicate effectively via personal interaction, telephone and email
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 3 years in a leadership/manager role
• Knowledge of ILS-S, EESOH-MIS, IMDS, ETIMS, LIMS-EV SCM, FedLog. LOGMOD and SMS
• NMPA Property Management Certification
• Knowledge of Red Flag-Alaska mission and operations
• Knowledge of Maximo management systems
