Our client is looking for a Senior Analyst of Technical Accounting or External Reporting to join their team. Ensure necessary processes and appropriate documentation are in place so all hedging/derivatives activities are appropriately accounted for in the financial statements. • Work with Regional Accounting Directors (RADs) on inquiries related to the application of accounting policies and other technical accounting matters, such as revenue recognition, leases, asset retirement obligations, insurance recoveries, and asset impairments. • Prepare and maintain an up-to-date library of accounting policies and procedures. • Prepare accounting analyses for one-time transactions (i.e., debt financings, acquisitions), as they occur. • Work with the external auditors and internal auditors to ensure timely resolution of outstanding matters. • Work with Accounting Departments to establish accounting processes for new projects as they begin.
