EMC TEST ENGINEER
Location Northville, USA

YOUR TASKS
* Plan and execute EMC testing based on various standards and customer specifications.
* Perform EMC/ Electrical testing for various products.
* Review, analyze and create EMC test plans prior to performing testing. Must be able to provide customer feedback as necessary.
* Create detailed work instructions and test methods.
* Creation of detailed test reports and test summaries.
* Customer support with analysis of EMC results.
* Assist and support audit topics, calibration and maintenance of EMC test equipment.
* HW EMC design verification.
* Some shift flexibility and weekends would be appreciated based on lab workload.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum of five years of experience in EMC testing, preferably in the automotive sector.
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent degree.
* Relevant experience with automotive communication equipment and protocols.
* EMC testing experience should, at a minimum, be related to Emissions, Immunity, ESD, BCI, and various electrical tests.
* Be familiar and able to use basic EMC test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, test harnesses, etc.
* Must be able to read and completely understand EMC test plans prior to performing testing.
* Must be familiar with customer EMC specifications and EMC standards CISPR and ISO.
