Field Service Rep
Title: Field Service Rep *Calling all Road Warriors!!*
MUST have held position with 80-100% travel previously!!
Location: Nationwide Travel, multiple locations (must be willing to travel!!) Will stay at most job sites roughly two months!!
Field Service Rep Job Description:
Technicians will be handling final construction audits at various Amazon facilities across the US! This team will be auditing entire installed system to ensure it has all markings and safety requirements clearly labeled in preparation for turnover to end client. Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude are required. The team will be inspecting the entire conveyor line, between 10-27 miles of conveyor usually spread over 2-3 tiers. Checking emergency stops, protective guards installed, bolts tightened, signs clearly marked and installed and various other mechanical and safety items where they are supposed to be according to spec. Also using laser measuring devices and levels to ensure proper spacing, leveling and detentions of the conveyor system.
Travel: Monday- Friday ( Working onsite at Client)
- We will schedule and cover Flights, vehicles!!
Gas will be reimbursed through expenses
- Travel home every 3 weeks work site allowing. We do our best to get people home as frequently as we can. Travel costs are covered and travel time is paid.
Hours: Client Site M-F and will be approximated 50+ hours a week
Field Service Rep Requirements:
- Must be able to walk 3+ miles a day. These are around 1 million sqft building, 2-3 floors and have around 20-27 Miles of conveyor inside. We are inspecting every inch of it so its going to be a lot of walking, bending, kneeling to get under them and climbing around them.
- Must have experience travelling in a Field support role previously.
Tools are provided but any basic tools they want to bring are encouraged.
Safety shoes, glasses and hard hats are required to be on site
