Arcadis is seeking a Aviation IT Program Manager to join our Infrastructure team. The candidate will be responsible for supporting an aviation client with Terminal Building IT Infrastructure, inclusive of the Design/Builders IT Infrastructure design and construction as well as coordinating the Operator/Maintainer/Concessionaires IT requirements.
Review of electronics and IT system design submittals for compliance with the Project Design Criteria, during the design review process, as well as coordination with the Airlines for input on system interface requirements in Airline exclusive use space. Responsibilities include coordination with the program team to complete all reviews within the contract review timeframe and the installation. Candidate will also coordinate the commissioning of Terminal IT systems and lead the effort for systems integration with existing airport wide systems.
Candidate must understand and be familiar with the specific IT infrastructure and applications that are used in an airport terminal environment, particularly common use terminals. Candidate is expected to have strong experience with the voice over Internet protocol, CCTV, Flight Information Display (FIDS), Baggage Information Display (BIDs), WiFi, Common Use Ticketing Equipment (CUTE), Common Use Gates, Security and Fiber Optic infrastructure.
- BS/BA Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several assignments
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
