Position Description: Assistant Account
Executive

IMS is
currently seeking an Assistant Account
Executive to work in our Morton Grove, IL office.  The Assistant Account Executive will be
responsible for seamlessly managing projects across all areas of our client
partnership -- client service, project management, reporting and accounting,
for two different key clients. We offer a fast-paced, challenging work
environment with room to grow. The
Assistant Account Executive must have a positive attitude and work well
independently, as well as within a team environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities Include:
 

• Plan, organize, and prioritize
projects for in-store print promotions

• Drive project
entry, timelines and art release for projects within each promotion

• Lead
replenishment projects for inventory management from job initiation to
client approvals and release

• Organize client
invoicing for print production, fulfillment and freight, based on client
requirements

• Help with compiling and/or
reviewing reporting and metrics for business needs

• Generate clear,
consistent communications to internal and external team members regarding
status and requirements of projects

• Proactive resolution for client
issues or concerns

• Drive ideas and innovation for
recommendations inside Agency and with Client(s)

• Work as a team member with all
IMS Account Management, Production, Warehouse, Customer Service, and
Finance staff

• Work with IMS processes and
procedures, and look for opportunities to improve and evolve processes

• Provide back-up and support to Account
Manager & Account Director

Job Requirements

Experience/Qualifications:
 

• Bachelor’s degree

• 1-2 years of project management experience
preferred

• Production and Customer Service
experience are a plus

• Excellent organization,
communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work
independently and manage priorities under tight timelines; ability to work
well under pressure

• Excellent client and project
management skills; follow-up across all aspects of the process

• Critical thinking, strong
attention to detail and analytical skills, as well as problem solving
ability

• Ability to handle a variety of
tasks effectively and efficiently
• Ability to prioritize
multiple projects and requests

Must be detail
oriented and a good listener

• Must be a team player

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and
Word
