QA Engineer

What You’ll Do:
As a QA Engineer with a deep passion for quality and a keen eye for detecting even the most elusive bugs, you will be vital in ensuring the reliability and excellence of our AI-driven products at Unify AI. With your expertise in Python and contemporary automation tools, you will be instrumental in developing our QA framework from the ground up. This role uniquely combines the precision of automation with the insight of manual testing, providing a comprehensive approach to quality assurance. Your contribution will significantly shape the future of quality at Unify AI, blending the best of both automated and manual testing methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Plan, create, and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy.
- Collaborate with the Development team to ensure consistent project execution.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
- Keen understanding of Python programming for developing test automation.
- Experience with both white box and black box testing.
- Good experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience with AI products or services is a strong plus.
- A creative mindset and the ability to approach quality issues unconventionally.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.
- Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated.
