A strong Oil Gas Company in the Permian Basin is seeking a personable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to assist office staff. This individual will be responsible for supporting the department in daily administrative duties on top of taking on special projects while keeping effective communication with their department and management alike. RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT Answer phones, messages, and/or emails promptly and professionally. On a daily basis, data enter, scan, copy, file, keep up with mail and keep a constant flow of communication with the team as well as management. This position will require the individual to assist with weekly monthly projects in support of the department. The ability to work independently and with a team is essential. The perfect candidate will be able to meet deadlines, initiate tasks without direct order and communicate efficiently with external and internal personnel.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AS AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT -At least 3 years or more of previous administrative and/or customer service experience. -This position is for a self-starter and efficient individual with strong communication skills. -Ability to anticipate problem situations and propose solutions therefore, organizational skills are essential. -Proficient with Data Entry, MS Word, and Excel. Background Credit check is required!!! -The perfect candidate will have at least 3 years or more of previous administrative experience with proven tenure. -Bilingual is a plus -Proven experience as an administrative assistant, virtual assistant or office admin assistant -Knowledge of office management systems and procedures -Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines -Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint, in particular) -Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work -Attention to detail and problem-solving skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task -High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
