**Overview**

Home to advanced medical practices, such as the nation's first digital cardiac catheterization laboratory, innovating orthopedic and spine surgery and comprehensive rehabilitation, and a state-of-the-art cancer center. Strategies and business development are centered on Oncology Services, Cardiac Services, and Orthopedics.

**Responsibilities**

The Orthopedic Coordinator handles administrative functions of the Graduate Medical Education residents and faculty (focused on orthopedics). The position is responsible for assisting the Manager with ACGME accreditation and oversight including the institutional reviews (CLER), WebADs, accreditation documentation, milestone reporting, rotation schedules and resident/faculty evaluations.

**Qualifications**

Required:

+ Two years experience (minimum) in a Graduate Medical Education field

+ Associates degree in the healthcare related field.

+ Organizational and planning skills; Ability to demonstrate business communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal and group presentation) * Familiarity and understanding of electronic databases, computer applications (Microsoft Word and Excel); Be able to apply knowledge and understanding, including the demonstration of competence with one or several web programs as listed below: o ERAS o AMION o WebADS o MyEvaluations (or comparable residency management software such as New Innovations, e-Value or Med Hub)

+ Complete annual safety training. Complete and maintain department specific training.

Preferred:

+ 5+ years experience (preferred) in an ACGME accredited residency department

+ Bachelor's degree or higher in related field
