Opportunity:
We are seeking an entry-level structural engineer to join our dynamic team in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role involves the structural design of new buildings, additions, and renovations. As part of our outstanding team, you will grow in your knowledge of structural engineering while gaining valuable experience and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the structural design of new buildings, additions, and renovations.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to develop and implement design solutions.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Utilize engineering software and tools to perform structural analysis and design.
- Stay updated with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering (a Master's degree is advantageous).
- Proven ability to manage projects collaboratively within a team.
- Strong capability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment with constant communication.
