Job Description

The SharePoint Developer/Architect provides strong technical experience in front-end SharePoint development with a focus on building SharePoint solutions comprising business process custom workflows, forms, dashboards and InfoPath forms. Experience in converting MS Excel/MS Access - reliant business processes into SharePoint workflows; interfacing with Project Managers following System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) best practices, including task level-of-effort estimation; and interfacing with Quality Assurance and Testing personnel on built solutions.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Provide Implementation Management function, including project integration:

  • Provide consultation and guidance to Government personnel pertaining to the application throughout the lifecycle of the systems
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance pertaining to workflows, site design, system operation, troubleshooting, and general system issues
  • Perform Project Coordination support to the project implementation team
  • Coordinate projects in the implementation phase with the designated PM or Implementation Lead
  • Work closely with Mission Partners and internal DISA customers for seamless integration
  • Coordinate meetings and resources on projects to ensure correct and complete response from DISA to external Project Management
  • Coordinate associated internal and external tasks, which includes assisting in the identification of support needed to execute projects
  • Work in conjunction with Mission Partners, internal DISA customers, liaisons, service desk analysts, technicians and leadership
  • Perform Full Project Lifecycle Support - track projects for the full lifecycle of the project
  • Coordinate task milestones; estimate time to complete tasks and monitor tasks for completion
  • Perform Project Documentation Support - create various project documentation, including Continuity of Operations (CONOPS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), SOWs and guidance documents for Mission Partners and internal DISA customers and DISA personnel
  • Gather information to create briefing charts; write correspondence; develop spreadsheets, etc., to estimate, update, maintain and report various IT projects' status
  • Perform Project Status Reporting Support - prepare and track project status for section chiefs, branch chiefs and executive management, provide project coordination, and status reporting to management and higher headquarters
  • Ensure conformance to local and higher headquarters procedures, and DoD directives and instructions
  • Perform Generic Project Support - provide generic project support assigned by the project PM or IL, to include attending project meetings, assisting with solution design discussions and documentation and identifying any non-standard design decisions made by the project team



Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in IT related field

8+ years of related experience (an additional 2+ years of relevant experience can be substituted for formal education)

Certifications

Appropriate DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level certification, as well as technology-specific certifications such as MCSA Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Certified UNIX Security Administrator (GCUX) etc. in systems architecture.

Security Clearance

NIPRNet and SIPRNet access - Secret IT-II

Requires Final (Interim is acceptable to start) DoD Security Clearance level of Secret

Other (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)

Note, all positons identified as DoD 8570 IT-II (privileged level systems access), require a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 investigation.

Minimal travel requirement expected.
