CohnReznick has an exciting career opportunity for an Advisory Senior Associate to join in the Government Contract Industry Practice located in our Tysons, VA office (currently working virtually). 

We are looking for an Advisory Senior Associate in our Government Contract Industry Practice. The Senior Associate will work closely with client management to provide timely, efficient advisory support in the government contracting environment.  You will have responsibility to execute a wide range of advisory services on various ongoing special projects with our government contractor clients. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and work with 5-7 clients; must be able to manage time to prioritize the workload
• Calculate and review of indirect rates; assist with pricing and budgeting of indirect rates
• Prepare and review of incurred cost submissions to include adequacy checks
• Review and document policies and procedures
• Assess business system readiness (Accounting, Estimating, Property and Purchasing Systems)
• Assess executive compensation calculations
• Research in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
• Supervise and train Associates
• Provide consulting for process improvement

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA license is a plus
• 3-5 years of recent experience in the government contract industry
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, GCS Premier, Jamis, Quickbooks and/or Unanet a plus
• Experience with Visio, or other flowchart software, a plus
• Knowledge of FAR and CAS
• Experience with DFARS business system requirements a plus
