This is an exceptional opportunity for a Home Manager with experience in neurological rehabilitation, complex care, or similar, to make a tangible impact in a modern, well-resourced service that specialises in care for individuals with complex neurological conditions, brain and spinal injuries, and stroke.

Overview:Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a highly respected healthcare provider to find a skilled and driven Home Manager for one of their flagship services in Worcester. This contemporary, community-focused service is known for its elegant design, offering exceptional care environments and facilities for both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care.

Having faced challenges in the past year, the service has made significant strides in improving its Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating and is now looking for a dynamic and proactive leader to continue driving its improvement journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of home management, including financial oversight, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive forward occupancy, ensuring the service is well-resourced and managed to deliver optimal care and support for all residents.
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance systems to ensure care standards meet and exceed regulatory and organisational expectations.
  • Connect with commissioners and build strong relationships to enhance service delivery and business performance.
  • Deliver resident-centred care, focusing on recovery, rehabilitation, and long-term well-being.

Location:The role is based in Worcester and is easily accessible from surrounding areas, including Malvern, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Chelteneham, Gloucester, Birmingham, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Newport and Bromsgrove.

Criteria:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager, preferably within a neurological or complex care setting.
  • Active NMC pin (preferred) or extensive experience in clinical care management.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards, particularly CQC, and a track record of driving improvements.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse clinical and care team.
  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team, with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
