Infoscitex, a DCS company, is an employee owned organization with a reputation for agile and efficient development of technology solutions for U.S. Defense, Aerospace, Human Factors, and Security markets.  We develop and maintain cutting edge systems for the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force supporting our national security.  Infoscitex is offering a sign-on bonus for an experienced Software Developer / DevOps Engineer to join our team.

Essential Job Functions:

Interested in protecting our nation through your unique and technical software skills and experience?  Our Software Developer / DevOps Engineer will provide critical support to the next generation cloud operations for the United States Air Force’s Air Combat Command.  You will be challenged with multi-level security, configuration management, integration and regression testing, and will collaborate with other contractor, civilian, and military system engineers and IT professionals. Your experience in Linux-based systems, scripting and cloud architectures will ensure the highest level of DevSecOps system support of this enterprise cloud-based environment to protect vital intelligence and mission data used for Air Force operations across the globe.


Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

At lease a BS degree in computer engineering, computer science, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline and at least 5 years of related experience. (We have multiple levels associated with this opportunity. Candidates with advanced degrees or varying experience may be considered for alternative classification.)

Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information: Active TS/SCI clearance or “TS/SCI eligible” required.

Experience setting up, configuring, and securing Linux-based systems.

Software experience using Python, BASH/Shell, Java, or Golang.

Industry experience with:

Maintaining Amazon Web Services (AWS) (for example:  EC2, S3 buckets, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda, AWS Console); and

Maintaining Docker containers.

Ability to integrate with other teams and organizations.

Additional beneficial skills or experiences, while not requirements for consideration, would include:

Understanding of the use and administration of MySQL/Postgresql.

Using Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence) for agile development and task assignment/tracking.

Installing, configuring, maintaining, and using ACASS/HBSS for maintaining security posture of servers.

Working with Kubernetes cluster.

Working/configuring HA Proxy and/or NGINX.
