Job Description As a member of the Global Products & Pricing (GPP): Core Payment Transaction/Enterprise Payments Platform (EPP) department, this Senior Manager Product position will lead a team of experienced Product Managers and the strategy to develop Core Payment Transaction capability solutions for DGN (Discover Network and Diners Card International) including the areas of settlement, pricing and clearing, adjustments/disputes chargebacks, and payment transaction data. You and your team will drive initiatives for growth and adoption of the product offering with internal and external partners. You will oversee strategy and create product roadmaps with short-term and long-term focus. Collaborating with the Business Product Owners’ delivery team(s), you and your team will work to execute delivery on the product strategy. Responsible for definition, guidance, and execution of product-related activities for a particular portfolio through the entirety of product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap definition to development and market readiness. Sets business objectives for the product development process and oversees execution, internal or external, as necessary. Supervises product managers and product owners. Works with minimal supervision. Develops and coaches' teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee. Responsibilities + Leads design, development, and implementation of new product strategy to support both domestic and international partners. + Grows existing product portfolio through new value-added features and functionality releases and enhanced customer experiences. + Provides vision and direction to a team of product managers. + Closely liaises with internal stakeholders to deliver on shared goals and priorities. Minimum Qualifications At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: + Bachelor's Degree in Business, Financial Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field + 2+ years of people management, or related field + 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field + In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field Preferred Qualifications If we had our say, we’d also look for: + 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field + Experience in Payments Transaction Processing (i.e., authorizations, settlement, pricing, clearing, disputes, transaction data) + Experience in product life-cycle within a technical platform product – ideation, management, strategy, delivery execution, commercialization + Strong communication and presentation skills + Experience in agile development and vendor management #LI-BP1 #Remote What are you waiting for?
