Reports to: Food Service Operations Manager(s)

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform the steps of SSA EXTRA Guest Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
  2. Ensure location is adequately stocked, prepped, and staffed for daily operation, working with direct reports to fill as necessary.
  3. Oversee direct location operational duties ensuring quick service, food service, safety, and quality, availability, merchandising, and guest service standards are all met and excelled.
  4. Support the build of daily prep and items lists, delegating to employees as necessary.
  5. Actively help to support operation and fill holes as necessary to ensure smooth service.
  6. Assign associates to duties, coaching through projects, daily tasks, and guest interaction.
  7. Actively and efficiently respond to guest feedback.
  8. Maintain familiarity with intermediate food and beverage knowledge, including but not limited to serve-safe food temperatures, FIFO product rotation, safe food handling, food storage and labeling, safe alcohol service, sanitation, and overall area cleanliness.
  9. Maintain general organizational upkeep of each outlet’s storage areas/back dock spaces within designated zone.
  10. Be responsible for daily check-ins with outlets, ensuring that information given to them via pre-shift meetings each morning is being communicated to team members across their zone.
  11. Limit and control waste through maintaining proper prep levels and daily tracking of waste through provided waste logs.
  12. Maintain consistency with all products and serve products based on the standards set by the operations and culinary team.
  13. Create and communicate a plan for the next day regarding staffing, prep, and to-do lists with direct reports.
  14. Implement proper merchandising of products as set by the Operations team.
  15. Monitor and control production of all products in your zone (including but not limited to popcorn, kettle corn, cotton candy, mustard cups, bottled beverages, and other cart items) as specific to your assigned zone.
  16. Support oversight of personnel duties, including but not limited to:
    1. Training new employees and issuing performance reviews.
    2. Actively coaching the employee on performance with oversight from operations manager.
    3. Overseeing break and rest break management for employees.
    4. Inspecting equipment and performing routine maintenance and cleaning as necessary.
    5. Assisting the team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner through helping complete daily tasks as necessary.
    6. Remain knowledgeable of and supervise in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
    7. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary.
    8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
    9. Uphold and demonstrate a complete understanding of company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  1. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to articulate to our General Manager and personnel.
  2. Proven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development while fostering partnerships with other branch managers.
  3. Exceptional problem-solving/decision-making skills combined with the ability to be organized.
  4. Demonstrates multi-tasking, detail, analytical, planning, and leadership skills.
  5. Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Ideal candidate is a team player, personable, professional, upbeat and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
  7. Computer knowledge and skill level for basic office functions.
  8. Physical ability to stand for extended periods and to move and handle boxes (10-35lbs) as necessary to operation, which entails lifting, and perform all functions as set forth above.
  9. Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Previous Experience:

  1. 1-2 years quick service management and/or operations supervisory experience preferred.
  2. All education backgrounds eligible.
