Our Pet Segment is searching for an eCommerce Catalog Specialist with 3-5 years’ experience in our Phoenix, AZ office or a remote location. This person will oversee eCommerce Catalog related activities including branded site content and taxonomy, variation management, maintaining integrity of product pages at all pure-play and omni-channel retailers, new internal content requests, PIM tool management and the related ongoing reporting of these activities.

This role will join the Digital Marketing Team supporting outlined business KPIs including retailer-specific perfect page status, content change %, customer page views, conversion rate and other metrics. The ideal candidate is an eCommerce Catalog expert with online retail experience. This person should be well versed in retail basics, eCommerce trends, search engine optimization, site tools and reporting tools. They are a creative thinker and have a deep understand how consumers shop on eComm – understanding their needs and providing content to drive both education and conversion. They think big, multi-task, work smart, are analytical, organized, detailed, innovative and entrepreneurial.   • Own the e-commerce channel, including consumer experience, brand guidelines, content strategy, reporting, merchandising and growth strategy
  • Manage internal marketing & sales requests for digital assets
  • Track omni-channel and pure play assortment and monitor site changes, making recommendations to curate assortment, update variations and use content/site experience to drive sales
  • Own new item launches and corresponding marketing/merchandising initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent execution
  • Own PIM (Salsify) content entry, updates and ongoing management
  • Own online retailer’s PDPs and PLPs, ensuring best in class content and ongoing updates
  • Efficient and timely updates to the catalog for new products and changes in products
  • Optimization of product content based on the unique needs/rules for each marketplace
  • Implementation of changes as requested to improve listing conversion rate, sales, impressions, average order value, CTR, and other metrics
  • Update changes that improve SEO performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with digital marketing, copy, creative, brand marketing, sales, reputation management, and other teams to provide visibility, transparency and efficiency with project work


  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with e-commerce retail websites
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive on helping shape retailer content within the ever-growing pet market segment
  • Understand content/messaging to guide performance-driven marketing and branding on product pages
  • Creative mindset and deep understanding of E-Commerce consumer shopper behavior
  • Ability to independently learn new tools/technology, leveraging trends to support the business
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
  • Excellent project management skills and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized, solution-oriented, quick learner, proactive and have a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of the pet space preferred
  • Previous experience with Salsify is a plus (or similar PIM tool)
