Warehouse Associate

Local customer who has been around for over 45 years is looking for Order Picker. We are currently searching for motivated candidates to fill their open positions.

Warehouse Associate Duties:

• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, or other areas
• Examine and inspect stock items and record data manually or on a computer
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or co-workers, based on information from incoming requisitions
• Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers
• Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Warehouse Associate Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Customer Service Experience
• Need at least 2 years Electric Pallet Jack experience
• Experience working in a warehouse with distributing food preferred but not mandatory
