Our client is currently seeking a CMS Architect

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Our client is seeking a talented CMS Architect to join our smart, high-energy, dedicated team in delivering a new digital platform and driving innovation and quality. This role will be responsible for all technical application design of the Content Management System, including custom modules, plugins, and services, leveraging core APIs, and integrating components with the database and external endpoints/systems (e.g. DAM, PIM, ECom, OMS).
  • This role will be required to drive technology change when appropriate. This role will work as a technical implementation stakeholder for the CMS and will collaborate with integration/data architects, product managers, application developers and managers to ensure technical vision is appropriately outlined, documented, socialized, mapped and implemented. 

Qualifications & Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Computer Science, Engineering)
•8+ years of experience in various application development / architecture roles 
•Experience working using Agile methodology and in fast paced environment 
•At least 6 years’ experience developing/architecting solutions on large CMS platforms 
•Strong knowledge of LAMP stack and RDBMS 
•4+ years of Drupal 8 development experience 
•5+ years of PHP development experience (preferably within MVC frameworks) 
•Experience designing and implementing headless commerce utilizing RESTful APIs 
•Strong knowledge of web application development using enterprise grade technologies and frameworks. 
•Strong familiarity with emerging presentation layer frameworks, patterns, and atomic design systems 
•Strong familiarity with emerging cloud and web technologies 
•Strong knowledge of profiling techniques, memory management and performance tuning utilized to result in elegant and fast-loading web experiences. 
•Demonstrated collaboration skills with the ability to handle conflict and to work with a distributed team. 
•Ability to convert business requirements into detailed system design and technical specifications 
•Expertise with git and source control workflows 
•Proven experience architecting and building large-scale transactional Drupal 8 applications 
•Experience with decoupled/progressively decoupled architecture and frontend frameworks (ReactJS) 
•Experience with Acquia hosted platforms (Acquia Cloud Enterprise/Acquia Cloud Site Factory) and tools (BLT), as well as public/private cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google). 
•Advanced cache management experience (CDN/Varnish/Memcache/Redis/Cache Tags) 
•Experience with performance tuning and code/website optimization 
•Strong ability to guide technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences 
•Excellent ability to partner with stakeholders 
•Strong leadership and presentation skills 
•Experience with Agile software development methodologies, ceremonies, and tools 
•Demonstrated experience leading and influencing process/change initiatives and problem-solving creatively and efficiently 
•Prior experience building consensus across functional areas within cross-functional project teams 
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
