Our client is looking for a dynamic Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their staff. In this role, the Full Charge Bookkeeper will direct journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. If you thrive with minimal supervision under tight deadlines, you might be the accounting detail oriented we're searching for this Bookkeeper role. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Mahtomedi, Minnesota area.

How you will make an impact

- Fashion cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

- Produce subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

- Administrate Accounts Receivable

- Categorize sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Sustain Accounts Payable

- List budget transfers

- Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- More tasks as requested

- Accomplished in credit card management and reconciliation

- Report on business license and gross receipts

- Organize cash flow projections, as needed

- Guide monthly accounting close
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Relevant accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Billing experience

- Strong familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Comprehensive knowledge of full charge bookkeeping

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience required

- Adeptness in payroll

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Sage 300 experience

- General familiarity with bookkeeping

- Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

- Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

- Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
