Apex Systems has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative in Chesapeake, VA!! You will be in a 'Call Center Environment' supporting one of our Major Government Clients! Please see below:

-6 Month Contract to Hire (After the Estimated 6 months on contract the Client has the full intention of bringing you on as a direct employee)

-Pay: At Perm $13.46/HR with full Benefits and 401K----- $13-$16 an Hour on Contract

-Shift: Third shift only to start, 1:30pm – 11pm.  Needs to be willing to work one weekend shift per month: Saturday – 10:45am – 3:00pm OR Sunday – 11:45 am – 4:00pm

-Requirements:

-Be Eligible for a Public Trust Clearance (obtain and maintain)

-Previous Call Center experience (mandatory) 

-Description:

  • 0-2  years of prior Call Center experience
  • Must be 18  years of age or older
  • High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree in a business related field preferred) 
  •  Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Has a pleasant, patient and friendly attitude
  • Strong decision making and analytical abilities
  • Strong detail orientation and communication/listening skills
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed
  • Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
  • Excellent customer service skills
