If you are an outstanding Financial Analyst, you might be right for the position Robert Half Finance is filling for a fast-growing company. In this Financial Analyst role, you will conduct financial modeling on a range of financial products and measure, analyze, and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. Forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management will be some of your focus areas as a business partner on this dynamic team. In the Financial Analyst role, your primary areas of focus will include supporting world class strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business imperatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness. In this position, you will also be expected to follow your main responsibilities with operationalizing and cultivating a more data-driven planning process and improved monthly and quarterly reporting. In this role, you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. Key responsibilities - Assemble and review forecasting reports - Explain and understand internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Work alongside cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to ensure plans are properly executed - Recognize potential risks and opportunities while analyzing performance to date - Deliver effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide valuable foresight and decision support - The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is adept at managing expectations and comfortable with handling large amounts of information - Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources - Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Interested candidates are encouraged to email their resume to paul.graham@roberthalf.com

Job Requirements

- Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds - Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening) - Knowledge of financial modeling with very strong MS Excel skills - Candidates with advanced Spreadsheet and ERP system experience will be prioritized - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field and a minimum of one year previous Financial analysis required. - Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently - Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Interested candidates are encouraged to email their resume to paul.graham@roberthalf.com
