Job Description

Community health care center in Mattapan MA is seeking for Managed Care Representatives to join their team -  In this critical role, you will be responsible in greeting and registering patients. This includes obtaining all necessary demographic and financial information to complete the registration process, and obtaining all appropriate authorizations and/ or referrals. Job responsibilities: • Schedule patient appointments and follow up appointments accordingly • Verify and update patient demographics  • Process patient insurance referrals, consultations and diagnostic procedures • Verify patient insurance eligibility Qualifications: • 1-2 years of customer service experience preferable in a medical or health care setting  • Familiarity with health insurances • Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic medical records • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information • Able to work independently and as part of a team We get to make life better for people and create remarkable experiences every day.
