The Consulting BI Developer provides technical and organizational guidance in the delivery of data and analytics, working with internal business owners to improve and automate processes and information systems used to serve the business and to drive supply expense savings. Performs in-depth evaluations of all requested financial and operational data to make business recommendations. Coordinates reviews and implements improvements of data efficiencies. This position is directly responsible for the delivery of new and existing analytics projects, oversight of agile execution and product lifecycle, the development of solution vision and goals and is responsible for ensuring quality of delivered products. This position requires both strategic and tactical skillsets with expertise in database navigation, intellectual curiosity, and proficiency at problem solving.
Duties (included but not limited to):
- Continue to enhance business intelligence by supporting new enterprise tools for reporting and analytics that meet customer needs
- Work with appropriate leadership teams to understand, develop, and communicate operational and supply expense data requests and reports
- Interpret and present data for decision-making needs
- Support database applications and analytical tools, including Teradata SQL Assistant
- Automate reporting efforts for Supply Chain Services through collaboration with EDW team
- Analyze system problems, program system fixes to existing applications, assist in the development of program design specifications and support the Director of Supply Chain Analytics in developing new programs to automate business processes
- Participate in operational performance reviews on an as needed basis
Bachelor’s Degree required
Required: Minimum of 5 years of progressively-responsible experience in a technical and/or analytics-based environment
Preferred: Experience in a Supply Chain related field (Demand / Supply/ Inventory / Production / Material / Master / Capacity Planning, Warehousing and/or Optimization)
