Cleaner - Los Angeles

We are currently looking for a Cleaner to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in Blueground’s apartments. This role ensures a welcoming, safe, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.

• Clean and service assigned apartments including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and balconies according to company design guidelines.
• Use vacuums, steam machine / ozone machine for heavy stains on furniture and upholstery as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor and collaborate with technicians for repairs.
• Report missing items from guest units and handle lost and found items according to the company’s procedures.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including adhering to established protocols and using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Be diligent in ensuring the security of the units.
• Have competency in filling out digital forms.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills:
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds.
• Manual dexterity and ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to respond to emergency cleaning needs promptly and efficiently.
