Salesforce Manager & Application Architect (Hybrid OR Remote if not local)

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Define platform wide architectural choices laying the common infrastructure for business teams to build their Salesforce solutions, including integration frameworks, data architecture, and security model.
- Assess technical fit of Salesforce as a solution for various use cases and consult with teams on leveraging Salesforce native capabilities to minimize custom code.
- Manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.
- Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical architecture.
- Build business applications and implement and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of applications.
- Provides thought leadership and mature integration architectures to enable and release the maximum business value of for the Salesforce platform.
- Oversee Salesforce backlog user story assignment to most effectively mature Salesforce products according to business prioritization.
- Drives standardization within the application development team by defining common patterns, governance, and best practices in the areas of development and integration.
- Reviews all work produced by the development team.
- Oversee consulting resources, including the management of delivery, work prioritization, and effective engagement with associate team members.
- Perform hands on Salesforce development.
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure code produced by team members meets company and security standards.
GENERAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively lead and inspire Salesforce team to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence.
- Understand project requirements, coordinate resources, and direct projects in the right direction for timely delivery.
- Delegate and allocate responsibilities efficiently to manage projects end to end
- Communicate progress and escalation points to IT Leadership team
- Encourage team interaction, boost employee motivation, and appreciate team contribution
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and suitably make changes if required
- Focus on professional career growth for team members providing development and performance feedback to ensure growth in both aspects.
- Manages change and effectively shares information throughout the company for smoother execution.
- Communicates effectively with IT product teams, business owners, and customers.
- Define and drive agile project management best practices.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language
- Ability to work effectively within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced changing environment; proactive, organized, multi-tasks, prioritizes, and meets deadlines in a timely manner.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document and train on new programs and processes
- Must be a team player and have excellent inter-personal skills
- Able to work on tasks based in business identified priority
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Development experience with Lightning Component Development and Apex
- Provide expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, B2B Commerce and Communities
- Demonstrate understanding Apex Classes/Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Salesforce Workflow, SOQL, SOSL andForce.comAPI, flows and Lightning framework
- Use of Copado for code promotion and regression testing preferred. Must have solid Salesforce skills and ideally understand the general concepts of Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- SAP background preferred
- Mulesoft experience preferred
- Process improvement experience desired
- Agile project management expertise
- BA/BS degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years Salesforce.com (SFDC) implementation experience as a Senior Technical lead/architect.
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing APEX, Visual Force & Lightning Web Component components.
- Proficient in handling the most complex of technical Salesforce development concepts, latest software tools and technologies, strong database concepts and designing techniques.
