Accountant
Classification: Accountant
Compensation: $60000.00 to $70000.00 yearly

Here is an accountant role in a Non-Profit company looking for a good fit to maintain financial records, grant records, and work closely with the Director of Operations and Executive Director of a meaningful mission. This organization supplies grants to African American, Native American, and Alaskan Native Catholic Catholic evangelizer communities to help educate, fund, and ensure continuation of their small community beliefs.
The Accountant will:
-Prepare annual budgets, overhead reports, monthly account reconciliations, and monthly reports
-Coordinate and assist with financial statement audit
-Cash flow monitoring between entities
-Post journal entries
-Process, generate, and record payments to vendors
-Process invoices and reconciling payments for stock orders
-Maintaining fixed asset depreciation schedule
-Recording and validating donations through Donor Perfect
-Updating and maintaining accounts in Donor Perfect

-Accounting degree
-5 years of accounting experience
-Month-end close and QuickBooks experience
-Preferred knowledge of Donor Perfect, Windows, Microsoft Office
-Good problem solving, organizational, analytical, multi-tasking, and initiative skills preferred
