6-month contract-to-hire, Inver Grove Heights


As an integral Senior member of the team supporting a Fortune 100 Organization prepare for a new system upgrade, you will be personally own accounting functions for the largest business unit in the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of Accounting Experience

• Proficient experience doing reconciliations, GL entries, variance analysis, and daily/monthly close processes.

• BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field is required

• Expert use of Microsoft Excel

• Blackline (recs & Journal Entries), SAP and JDE experience all preferred.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in preparation for all daily and monthly close activities

• (including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement tie outs, and quarterly disclosures.)

• Must be able to hit the ground running, have a strong enough initiative to ask for training and help where needed, but put their nose to the grind stone and deliver in a faced paced environment.

• Assist in process improvement initiatives, automation, and documentation.

• Active involvement with Month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with other associated duties as assigned.
