Summary:

The HRIS Analyst will support and maintain the Human Resource Information Systems. This individual serves as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects such as data analysis as assigned.
 
Experience/Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Systems required
  • Masters Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Project management experience required
  • Extensive knowledge of databases/SQL required and experience with supporting and developing interfaces, HTML5, social media strategy, Cloud experience preferred
  • Must be a critical thinker and problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience providing data analysis in a healthcare setting
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with leaders and data, both in-person and through reports and dashboards
  • Experience with Infor/Lawson preferred including BQL, JavaScript, Cognos Reporting, Configuration Control, LPL, GHR Security, Spreadsheet Designer License or Certification Requirements:

    Responsibilities:

  • System administrator for the Infor CloudSuite HCM System and all related systems including but not limited to time and attendance, Talent Management, Employee Health, Employee Wellness, core systems, Workforce Management.
  • Write and maintain interfaces for all vendor files.
  • Collaborates with employees, leaders, and the Payroll department to identify compensation compliance and remedies as needed.
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.
  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
  • Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency and automate processes in the HRIS/Payroll and talent management system.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
  • Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
  • Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.
  • Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
  • Provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements and automate processes.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll, organizational development and learning, risk management, employee health).
  • Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
  • Serves as a resource to HR and Leadership team in regard to training on HRIS systems, compensation, and performance management.
  • Support other departments utilizing employee data, preparing secure data flow, reports, and data analytics.
  • Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs.
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Assist with developing HR analytics functionality and automation of reports.
