JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Position Objective:

The GIS Systems Analyst is responsible for both short-term and long-term strategic planning, GIS software and server administration.  Position maintains GIS system, build/publish mapping tools, and support companywide GIS activities.  Position may include, but is not limited to, data portal support, database research/reporting, territory maintenance, and general mapping requests.  

Position Responsibilities:

• Administer enterprise GIS platform
• Develop tools to support corporate needs
• Plan and execute software upgrades
• Build and maintain relationships with users, IT, and varied stakeholders 

• Update and manage 3rd party datasets within platform
• Analyze current business processes and recommend best-practice solutions
• Support mapping and data needs to various teams
• Execute and fulfill operational and sales-related analytics and reporting
• Complete assigned research projects
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• BS in Geography, IT, Geographic Information Systems, or business discipline or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of three years’ experience in a related field

• ESRI with ArcGIS Enterprise Platform, Geodatabases experience required with a general knowledge of other core GIS principles
• Preferred training or experience in ESRI ArcGIS applications, including desktop and server applications
• Knowledge of reporting, dashboards, and data modeling
• Microsoft SQL Server knowledge preferred
