Software Forensic Engineer - Cyber Development

Lockheed Martin Chantilly, VA (On Site) Full-Time

The Cyber Developer will be expected to work independently to determine and develop innovative approaches to research problems\. The ideal candidate will be capable of presenting research results and prototypes to both internal and external entities\.

**Basic Qualifications:**

Active Top Secret clearance; US citizenship required

Knowledge areas of this dynamic Cyber Developer position may include any of the following:

• Experience analyzing and identifying vulnerabilities, as well as conducting binary, or equivalent security field experience

• Low\-level firmware/software development pushing the bounds of the originally specified intent of the hardware/software

• Perform embedded development, software reverse engineering, and vulnerability research

• Understanding and forensic analysis of two or more of the following operating systems; Linux, Windows, Andriod, iOS, BSD, MacOS, Unix \(or other like OSs\)

• Automate testing and command execution using a scripting language \(e\.g\. Python, Shell Script, etc\)

• Networking experience and application layer protocols

**Desired Skills:**

• Knowledge/Experience with Operating Systems Internals for one of the following operating systems; Linux, iOS, BSD, MacOS, Unix \(or other like OSs\)

• Mac/Mac Internals knowledge across multiple versions

• Understanding of network protocols

• Understanding of embedded system architectures \(e\.g\. x86, x64, ARM, MIPS, PPC, etc\.\)

• Experience in security fields as well as familiarity analyzing and identifying vulnerabilities

• Experience with reverse engineering software components, conducting binary analysis in Mac or iOS environments using related tools such as Ghidra, IDAPro, etc

• Experience in Object Oriented Programing and languages including objective\-C, C\+\+, Python, Perl, Ruby, Java, and SQL
