SNI Technology is on the search for a Web Content Developer for one of our clients in Clearwater, FL who are aligned with high-end retail. This is a two-month contract opportunity with the possibility of converting to a core employee. You'd be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging website content and driving business success. You'd be a part of a larger marketing team of roughly 20 that includes e-mail marketing specialist, graphic designers, SEO specialists, etc.
Create, produce and manage high-quality content across all websites.
Regularly audit website content for accuracy and performance to create a great user experience that drives online results.
Adhere to SEO best practices and implement SEO improvement plans to increase organic traffic.
Plan navigation, page layouts and content for new websites or redesigned websites utilizing Sitecore.
Write content to be used on website as well as proofread existing copy on website and that created by other team members.
Utilize Photoshop to resize and edit images to go on the websites.
Train other team members to use Sitecore to update website content.
Complete testing of new functionality and other changes made on the website to ensure successful deployments free of bugs and errors.
Follow brand guidelines to maintain a consistent brand experience online.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with key team members and vendors.
Keep abreast with new trends in web technology.
Skills and Requirements:
3+ years of robust experience with website content using content management systems.
Excellent grammar and writing skills.
Proficiency in HTML. Bootstrap experience a plus.
Strong understanding of web best-practices.
Experience with Photoshop required and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.
Good understanding of Google Analytics and ability to use to make recommendations for websites.
Ability to think through problems and express them clearly.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Works effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
