Genesis10 is seeking a Guidewire Project Manager for a 9-12+ Months Contract opportunity for our client in Austin, TX.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Technical Project Manager to manage & deliver the inception of Guidewire Claim Center Upgrade from Version 7 to 10. The individual must have strong knowledge of project management principles, methodology, process, tools, and techniques. Also, have extensive technical knowledge of Guidewire Claim Center, Contact Manger Applications & integrations and prior experience of managing Guidewire Claim Center Upgrade.

You will work with cross-functional teams to evaluate the Claim Center 7 application & integrations, understand the scope of the upgrade project, develop and document possible solutions (e.g. process flows, systems designs and configurations, etc.), analysis and drive decisions to the optimal solution,and create a high level project plan, design, test plan, and estimate for the technical upgrade of Claim Center from Version 7 to 10.

  • Create and manage all project management resources including project plans, issues log, and status updates
  • Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Claim Center & Contact Manager Configuration and Integration
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Guidewire Claim Center Upgrade Projects
  • Effective listening, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
  • Highly motivated and equally comfortable working independently or on a team to drive solutions with minimal supervision
  • Illustrate key concepts through process descriptions, workflows and other visual diagrams
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to establish the strategy / vision and analyze business tradeoffs
  • Act as a liaison between culturally diverse cross-functional teams to facilitate effective and seamless communication channels
  • Facilitate project meetings including core team meetings and executive meetings
  • Direct and manage projects from beginning to end.
  • Develop and build knowledge across the project lifecycle including scope definition, business case development, requirements gathering, functional and technical design, implementation, testing and training phases
  • Develop and lead change management and communications efforts
  • Ability to follow agile or iterative software development methodology
  • Analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, negotiation and organizational skills with experience focusing under pressure
  • Experience driving projects end-to-end independently, including evaluating, defining and improving end-to-end processes
