Electrical Engineer (Power Electronics)

Your Remote Tech Recruiter Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) Full-Time
Derived Salary: $73K - $130K/Year

Interested in working for a cutting edge US-based Tech Consultancy?

Interested in working on projects with Power Electronics?

If the answer to both of those questions is a resounding 'yes' then this might be the role for you!

I'm engaged with an innovative US-based Engineering Consultancy who are looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Engineer, with proven experience working with Power Electronics.

The role is based in Philadelphia (on-site), and you'll be given an incredible opportunity to work on cutting edge projects in the Defense/Government space. This is a chance to genuinely innovate, working for an organisation who operate in a range of core areas including networking, electronics, hardware design and system infrastructure.

Main Requirements:

  1. Proven experience working with Power Electronics - i.e. 450VAC/300VDC or higher

  2. Experience working with any of the following - transformers, rectifiers, solid state relays, induction motors, switchboards, motor controllers etc.

  3. BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  4. Knowledge of device characteristics, gate driving circuit design, thermal design, topologies, modulation schemes, control strategies etc.

  5. US citizenship

  6. Active security clearance (Secret Clearance) would be ideal, but isn't 100% essential

Due to the nature of the projects/role, you will be expected to be on-site in Philadelphia 5 days per week and this means that the role isn't remote!

In terms of salary, they're ideally looking to pay between $100,000 - $140,000 (depending on experience), so if that falls within your range then give me a shout.

I've deliberately kept this advert nice and short (nobody wants to read my version of 'War & Peace'), so if you'd like to find out more information then get in touch via the following -

P.S. anyone who applies will receive feedback, even if it's negative (this isn't one of those 'application black hole' situations!)...
