Digital Enterprise Architect

Location: Remote with travel (TBD in 2021)

Join our fast-growing, dynamic team! UST Digital Architects work with clients to define the enterprise business and technology architecture implications of digital transformation. They help clients identify and define technology initiatives needed to support their digital transformation and lead the implementation of the architectures necessary to deliver and support those capabilities.

A UST Digital Architect works with clients and UST client service teams to define and deliver shape the application and technical architectures necessary to support digital transformation.  The Digital Architect – User Experience is responsible to conceptualize, design, implement and refine the end user experience of digital solutions across multiple channels.

 

Responsibilities

•  Defining the architectures and technologies that will deliver the user experience for a given solution, typically across multiple channels, in alignment with the information and overall technical architecture

•  Working with User Experience designers and other digital architects to ensure that the architecture supports the content management and design creation needs

•  Supporting the development and delivery into the production of the solution, working with delivery teams during the delivery phase using a variety of methodologies, but with a focus on Agile

•  Analyzing and resolving user experience and multi-channel problems throughout the lifecycle of the solution working closely with the content creation, development and operations teams

•  Providing user experience input to business development activities

•  Contributing user experience expertise to new sales activities

•  Working day-to-day with clients and UST delivery teams
 

Basic qualifications

•  Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or higher,  with 8 years’ progressive experience of which 3 have been contributing to enterprise architecture

•  Relevant experience on both small and large size implementations or support projects

•  End to end involvement as an architect in at least 2 significant production implementations


Ideal candidates for this role will have experience:

•  In a professional services / consulting environment;

•  In solution/technology architecture or technical services roles delivering digital solutions;

•  With typical enterprise legacy systems and technologies.

 

Candidates must have:

•  A solid understanding of key user experience architecture capabilities and how to ensure that they are delivered as specified

•  Implementation experience with relevant user experience, content management, and multichannel technologies

•  Practical experience with full lifecycle Agile development, DevOps and common supporting tools

•  The presence and ability to document and communicate user experience concepts to clients and development teams

 

Additionally, candidates should have experience in 3 or more of the following areas:

•  Content creation and content management products and suites

•  Search engines and SEO

•  Digital marketing and sales technologies

•  Multi-channel architecture, web application development and related technology (e.g. HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Angular, Python, mobile native, hybrid applications)

•  Web application development (e.g. content management, search, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, Angular, Python and related frameworks)

•  Open source and vendor stacks/solutions
