JOB SUMMARY:

Provide in depth knowledge and support to various internal product and sales teams.



CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.
Work collaboratively with the Product Support team to ensure that all incoming customer/sales requests are reviewed and resolved or passed to the appropriate group.
2.
Resolve intermediate to difficult problems, while collaborating with more senior level employees on more complex problems/crosses.
3.
Accurately cross-reference and/or research external brands to identify corresponding Medline products.
4.
Identify and report training deficiencies to Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist. Access gaps in product offerings and work with the relevant product manager to set-up new vendors and items.
5.
Report product issues/concerns.
6.
Report deficiencies and coordinate with the relevant Product Manager or Senior Product Support Specialist to discuss the set-up of new vendors and items.
7.
Provide administrative support and respond to sales rep questions as needed with a sense of urgency.
8.
Acquire and maintain product knowledge to become a subject matter expert for Medline products.
9.
Product specific areas include: providing tracking information to reps on request, ascertain product lead times, request expedited production/shipping, managing of custom OR Table/Stretcher order log, sending samples, maintain master cross reference tool

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 1 year customer service experience.
Additional
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
Ability to multi-task/manage multiple projects at one time.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome obstacles/objections.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: List preferred education, certifications, years of experience, etc.

Education
Bachelor%26rsquo;s degree.
Relevant Work Experience
Previous healthcare experience.
