Japanese IT company seeks an IT Project Manager.

Work location:
Hybrid in NYC.

【JOB TITLE】
IT Project Manager

【SUMMARY】
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Also managing team members and business side members, as well as third party contractors and consultants to deliver projects according to plan. In response to our client’s request, this position does not have an established work schedule. You will be required to work a flexible schedule based on the client’s needs. Please understand that the position will require flexibility on your part.

【PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES】
- Create project plan document according to the information from feasibility study, survey from the business side and/or Business Requirement.
- Arrange various meetings with related users and managers, systems team and project stakeholders if necessary.
- Prepare resource plan and budget plan (if it's not prepared yet before project starts), as well as WBS to start the project.
- Prepare various status meetings with related users (may include overseas offices and head office), daily, weekly or monthly if necessary.
- Prepare phase to phase exiting presentations to SME (Subject Matter Experts) to review before you go to new phase.
- Manage various resources for System and Business teams to keep the project going.
- Arrange the visitors from remote offices, overseas office and head office. Follow the compliance, quality assurance procedures and other regulations.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the department.
- Monitor and review employees' work activities through individual meetings and group meetings to ensure that all work activities are proceeding smoothly.
- Motivate, develop and mentor employees for improved performance. Responsible for hiring, training, evaluating and mentoring departmental employees.
- Ensure that established policies, rules, regulations and procedures are followed.
- Responsible for system requirement hearing and Business Requirement Document creation.
- Design and develop user interface using VB.NET and C#, ASP.NET 4.5, HTML, JavaScript.
- Design and develop data access and processing.
- Plan and execute Integration test and implementation.
- Troubleshooting of web application and database.
- Report all irregular issues and problems to management for solution. Maintain good communication with supervisor, office staff members and outside contacts.

【REQUIREMENTS】
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business.
2. If the candidate is senior level, 5+ years of experience in IT environment, understand advanced level of knowledge for the Microsoft networking environment. If you have any experience to work for major Japanese companies, is a plus.
3. Experience in Project Management standard processes, PLC, in all phases (Plan, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation processes.)
4. Must have basic IT knowledge.
5. Advanced skills of Microsoft Office products (Work, Excel, Outlook, Access and PowerPoint).
6. Excellent communication skills - speak, write and read in both English and Japanese at business level.
7. Strong team orientation skills.
8. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
9. Fluency in Japanese.

【HOUR】
9am ~ 6pm

【SALARY】
Starting at $65K~ and more for experienced candidates, DOE
