supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, such as
inspectors, precision workers, machine operators, assemblers, fabricators, and
plant and system operators.
Enforce safety and sanitation
Direct and coordinate the activities
of employees engaged in the production of metal fabrications; such as
inspectors, welders, machine operators, fabricators, sandblasters, painters,
laborers and truck drivers.
Confer with other supervisors to
coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Plan and establish work schedules,
assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
Inspect materials, products, or
equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
Supervise, oversee/direct the
scheduled preventative maintenance of shop equipment.
Teach and train fabrication
personnel in equipment operation, safety and process improvement.
