Description:

RNII for Cardiac Rehab - 10hr shifts

What you will do:

The RN plays a vital role in Pulmonary and Cardiac rehabilitation. You will identify patients who are eligible for rehabilitation, assessing the individual patient prior to entry into the program, provide education regarding the patient's disease, and participate in the exercise training programs. This is a hands on, fun environment that values compassionate and joyful service. Seeking an energized person who believes in health and wellness.

Responsibilities

* Perform patient assessments.
* Assist the rehab team with an individual treatment plan custom to the patient's needs and goals.
* Monitor exercise performance.
* Supervise exercise prescription for patients
* Teach health and wellness.
* Evaluate effectiveness of therapy.
* Participate in performance improvement.

What you will need:

* Registered nurse with 1 year experience in the care of cardiac and pulmonary patients
* BLS certification
* Basic EKG interpretation
* ACLS certification preferred
