Job Description

We are currently seeking an Senior Audit Manager for our Government Audit Practice based out of our Brookfield, WI office.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide solutions to complex problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of a variety of factors
  • Provide strategic and tactical accounting advice and recommendations to firm’s clientele
  • Consult with clients on various internal accounting related transactions
  • Train junior staff on Audit procedures as well as organizational procedures
  • Provide review of work product and performance

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a valid CPA License
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience with the ability to manage an entire Audit engagement
  • Prior Governmental Audit experience in a Public Accounting environment
  • Experience with National Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA)
  • Strong knowledge in TID Reporting and TID Filing
  • 3+ Years of prior management experience
  • Proficiency with computerized accounting software and MS Office
  • Strong client rapport and project management skills
  • Ability to service multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Verbal and written skills with the emphasis on being able to articulate complex financial information to a variety of clientele

  • GFOA Certificate of Achievement
